Terms
The terms on which we design, price and supply. They are short, because the most important ones are printed on every bill as well.
What Homestat provides
ELV design for private villas, the hardware that the design calls for, coordination of its delivery to the wiring milestone, and the manufacturer's warranty on the hardware we supply. Homestat does not install, program or commission. That work is carried out by an installer you choose, from our approved list or your own, under their own contract and their own workmanship warranty.
Designs
A design at selling depth is free. It remains indicative until the full engineering documents are released, and it is based on the plans and answers you gave us; wherever a fact could not be verified, the design says "to confirm". Designs and documents are confidential and remain Homestat's property until they are paid for. Sharing links are watermarked, and the full documents require acceptance of the confidentiality undertaking.
Prices
We do not publish a price list. Each villa is priced on its own bill, in AED, and every price includes 5% VAT. Homestat Studio accounts receive their own rate as stated in the account. Prices on a bill are valid for the period stated on it. Wiring, conduit, containment, installation, programming and commissioning are never included.
Orders and payment
Hardware orders are paid 50% on confirmation and 50% before shipment. The first 50% is not refundable once the wiring drawings and the engineering handover have been released, because it pays for the wiring drawings, the handover and the supplier's deposit. Hardware does not ship until the second 50% has been received. The design retainer of AED 3,500 per villa, including VAT, is credited in full against a hardware order for the same villa.
Delivery and warranty
Lead times are stated with each order and depend on the manufacturer. Hardware carries the manufacturer's warranty, which Homestat handles for you. Workmanship, programming and commissioning are warranted by the installer who carried them out.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Beit DIY FZ LLC, trading as Homestat, trade licence no. 16405/2020.
