About us

A licensed UAE company since 2020. We design the low-voltage systems of private villas and supply their hardware, working from engineering rules rather than estimates, and we price every villa before anyone commits.

Design and supply

An ELV design-and-supply company for private villas, and deliberately nothing more.

Homestat designs and supplies automation, WiFi, CCTV, intercom, door access and audio for private villas. We take floor plans and plain answers and turn them into an engineered design and a priced bill within hours, and then we sell the hardware that the design calls for. Installation, programming and commissioning are always carried out by installers, never by us.

Where the rules come from

Years of designing villa ELV by hand, and of watching the same mistakes repeat themselves.

The sixteen-button kitchen. The thermostat plate fixed beside a room screen that already did its job. The access point in a corner that was never going to reach the majlis. The keypad in the maid's room that nobody asked for. The bill that changed on site because the first-fix drawing never said where anything went.

Each of those mistakes became a rule, and the rules became software. That software is what answers you in hours, and an engineer at Homestat still reads every design before it goes out.

The rules we keep

Six habits that shape every design and every bill we send.

  • The price comes first

Your villa's bill arrives in hours, every system priced, before you commit to anything. If a number on it is wrong, tell us and we will correct the number rather than defend it.

  • Engineering runs in hours

The rules a careful engineer follows run as software, and an engineer at Homestat still reads every design before it goes out.

  • Open standards

Automation runs on KNX, an open standard shared by hundreds of manufacturers, so the villa never depends on one supplier.

  • Your own switches

Keep the series that matches your sockets; a module behind each one makes it smart, and the switch line reads AED 0.

  • Scenes on the wall

One keypad by the door with a scene on each button, and a screen only where someone will stand and use it.

  • Installers install

We design and supply; installers wire, program and commission from our documents. Selling the parts and not fitting them keeps our advice honest.

Where our villas are

The communities in the UAE, Qatar and Oman where we have finished villas. One appears once there are at least two, so no single home can be picked out.

Who is behind it

An engineer who grew tired of explaining why a quote takes three weeks.

Our founder is an ELV and home-automation engineer who spent years on the business side of villa projects in the UAE. Homestat is his answer to the three-week quote: a company built to behave like the engineer friend who tells you what things cost and what tends to go wrong, and who won't sell you what you don't need.
